Hawks Midget Red win Andy Noel Fall Classic

Hawks Midget Red - 2019

The 2019 Wallingford Hawks Andy Noel Fall Classic was the largest tournament in the program's history. 78 teams played 173 games across 12 divisions during the program's 20th annual tournament.

With 15 programs from 3 states sending 78 teams to compete, competition was fierce, and our Hawks teams came together to face the challenge and do their best, and have a little fun along the way.

Congratulations to all of our Hawks players for putting forth a great effort and playing hard through every shift, and every game.

Special recognition goes to the Hawks Midget Red team who won their division with a win over Watertown and an overall record of 4-0-1. We would also like to acknowledge our Bantam A team and PeeWee A team who both played wonderfully through the course of the weekend, but fell short in the championship round of the their respective divisions.

Thank you to all of the volunteers, players, coaches, referees, parents, fans, and participating programs for another memorable Fall Classic.

Columbus Tournament Volunteer Registration

***Calling all Hawks***

Click the link for our 2019 tournament volunteer registration. With close to 80 teams participating in our 20th Fall Classic this year - we need all hands on deck to assist with the food tent, merchandise table, game operations across 4 sheets of ice, and the Hawks' Nest at Choate. We have five jam packed days of hockey ahead of us. It will be a lot of fun and a lot of work, but it always provides a great opportunity to build and grow our Hawks community.

Wallingford Hawks Travel Permission Form

During travel, players may be away from their families and support networks, and the setting – unfamiliar locker rooms, automobiles, and hotel rooms – is less structured and less familiar. A travel policy provides guidelines so that care is taken to minimize one-on-one interactions between minors and adults while traveling. Further, the policy directs how minor players will be supervised between and during travel to and from practice and games. Adherence to travel policies helps to reduce the opportunities for misconduct.

USA Hockey requires that all local programs have travel policies applicable to their youth teams and to provide the policies to all players, parents, coaches and other adults that are travelling with the team.
