NECK GUARDS

NECK GUARD UPDATE August 2025:

Since 2022, all players registered to a CHC member program have been required to wear an unmodified neck protector for on-ice activities including but not limited to practices & games. USA Hockey officials in Connecticut are charged with enforcement of this CHC rule.

Now, per USA Hockey and CHC rules, Neck Laceration Protectors will need to have an HECC Certification as of a date soon to be determined. CHC is awaiting confirmation of what that required date will be, but please be sure to look for an HECC Certification when purchasing new gear for this season.
